Is this really happening?

On March 2, 2011 my best friend told me she was applying for Disney and then some way, some how she talked me into applying :)

On March 3rd I started the application process. I finished and passed the web-based interview on the 4th. I had my phone interview on March 11th. I was super nervous! Here's a funny story :) my interview was  scheduled for 2:30pm. Well I was sitting around listening to Disney music to prepare myself since about 2. Well, at 2:25 my nerves got to me and I reallllly had to pee. So I decided to run to the bathroom but I took my phone with me just in case Disney called. My friend had her interview just an hour before mine and they called her 2-3 minutes after her scheduled time so I thought I had time to use the bathroom. Literally as soon as I sat down on the toilet my phone rang! Of course, just my luck! So I pee'ed super quick before answering my phone because I didn't want them to hear. Then I answered and knew I could flush the toilet because I didn't want them to hear that either. So I just waited and went back to flush it after my interview. haha :)))
My interview was 20minutes long. As soon as I finished my interview I called my friend to let her know how it went. While I was on the phone with her I got another call from a blocked number. It was Disney with a few more questions for me. Another 5 minutes of interviewing. This worried me because I never heard of this happening to anyone else.
That evening my friend and I went to dinner and then to a coffee shop to study. While there she got an email thanking her for the interview and what not. I didn't get the email I waited about an hour since out interviews were an hour apart but still nothing. I started worrying again. Finally on Monday I got the Thank You email.
On either the Tuesday or Wednesday she got accepted. I checked my email constantly. That's all I could think about. Most people I knew applying around that time were finding out within a week of their interview. On Friday, March 18, I was spending the day with one of my best friends who i hadn't seen in months! We went to lunch and went shopping but all I could think about was DISNEY. I was on my phone the whole time checking my email. We had just got back from shopping around 3:30ish. I went lay down for a nap but decided to check my email one last time. I was starting to loose hope for that day. Finally! I was accepted! I had gotten the email while we were driving home! I yelled for her to come into the room and I told her I was going to Disney. Her and I and her dog haha jumped up and down in excited. I called my friend who convinced me to apply. She was so excited for me. We were going to Disney together :) She asked me what role I got and I didn't even know. I told her I didn't read that far into the email. She said it was right at the beginning but I couldn't even get past CONGRATULATIONS!
I was accepted for Recreation Roll!
That was one of the happiest days of my life.
